The Site Supervisor for Aeration Lanes is responsible for overseeing the delivery, installation, maintenance, and operational performance of aeration lane systems on wastewater treatment sites. This role ensures that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards, ATAC Solutions procedures, and client expectations. The supervisor will manage and work alongside on-site crews, coordinate subcontractors, maintain documentation, and serve as the primary point of contact during site operations.

Responsibilities:

Site Management & Operations

  • Supervise and work alongside day-to-day activities related to the installation, refurbishment, and operation of aeration lanes.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with site plans, technical specifications, and project timelines.
  • Conduct daily briefings, task allocations, and coordination with site teams and subcontractors.
  • Monitor equipment performance, aeration systems, blowers, diffusers, pipework, and associated components.
  • Identify and escalate technical issues, faults, or risks in a timely manner.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce a strong safety culture on site and ensure all staff follow ATAC Solutions H&S policies.
  • Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain safe working practices around confined spaces, wastewater processes, and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure environmental compliance and proper waste handling procedures.

Quality Control & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate daily site records, including progress reports, permits, inspections, and photos.
  • Verify quality standards for installation work, mechanical assemblies, and aeration system operation.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and handover documentation.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and motivate site operatives to ensure productivity and high workmanship standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on aeration equipment and site procedures.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the primary on-site representative for ATAC Solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications/Skills:

Essential Desirable
  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in wastewater, utilities, or mechanical installation.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS qualification.
  • Strong working knowledge of aeration lanes, wastewater treatment processes, or related systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, method statements, and installation specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of mechanical equipment on Anglian Water sites as part of ATAC Solutions' service and project delivery operations. The role involves extensive travel across the Anglian region and requires a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving ability, and a commitment to high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Mechanical Installation & Maintenance

  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems on wastewater and clean water sites.
  • Work on equipment such as pumps, pipework, valves, aeration systems, mechanical screens, mixers, and associated plant.
  • Carry out mechanical refurbishment works including alignments, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.

Site-Based Engineering Activities

  • Attend multiple Anglian Water sites daily/weekly as required by the project schedule.
  • Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics to resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Assist with commissioning activities, testing, and system integration.
  • Ensure compliance with site permits, method statements, and risk assessments.

The Project Engineer will play a key role in delivering engineering projects within our Operations Department from concept through to completion. The Ideal candidate will be proactive and a technically skilled to oversee service contracts for multiple water companies throughout the South and Midlands. You will ensure the efficient delivery of routine service, maintenance and reactive support for a fleet of wastewater process equipment ensuring operational reliability and compliance with client and company standards.

Responsibilities:

Service Contract Planning:

Oversee and coordinate ongoing service contracts for wastewater treatment assets, including mechanical and electrical systems.

Coordination:

Manage site schedules, service visits and work closely with the planning team to ensure resource allocation for routine and reactive maintenance.

Technical Oversight:

Act as a primary technical contact for all clients providing timely updates on technical advice ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Problem-Solving:

Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges as they arise.

Documentation:

Prepare and review technical documentation which will include: Service reports, asset condition assessments, recommended upgrades or refurbishment work, RAMS and client updates as required.

Quality Control:

Ensure quality control and assurance throughout the duration of the contract. Monitor service contract progress, ensuring compliance with budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Procurement:

Oversee the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment needed for service contracts.
